Daft Punk's sound was deeply rooted in sampling, an art Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo called 'bricolage.' Thomas Bangalter’s father, Daniel Vangarde, a 70s disco producer, also influenced their embrace of funk and disco. This track’s groove became the driving force behind a future Daft Punk hit.

Good Times — Chic
