Cracking Codes — Andrew Bird
Peter Farrelly says he listened to Andrew Bird throughout filming I Play Rocky, then called to ask him to do the score. Bird gave them new music, Farrelly recalls. Farrelly brought in his regular composer, Dave Palmer, to merge pieces of Bird’s music with Palmer’s own. The I Play Rocky soundtrack announcement lists “Cracking Codes” among nine songs from the film written and performed by Bird. This recording is from Bird’s album My Finest Work Yet.
